Welcome
Welcome to the World's End Estate at the head of the beautiful Eglwyseg valley, north of Llangollen, where we have created the ultimate holiday home, designed solely for your delight.
Fron Lwyd (pron. Vron Luid) is situated in a remote corner of this legendary estate, once owned by the Prince of Powys, high up overlooking the Eglwyseg crags.
The ancient farmstead has been restored to the highest standards, including luxury bathrooms, state of the art kitchen and elegant décor and furnishings throughout. You are also invited to roam freely - wherever you want - over the World's End Estate, which encompasses 1000 acres of organic farm and woodland easily accessed by our network of tracks and paths.
Tranquillity
Fron Lwyd is secluded and peaceful, without traffic noise and light pollution: despite its amazing long views, no other building is visible. Fron Lwyd has a timeless, elemental quality.
Deep in the country, the World's End Estate is one hour from Liverpool, an hour and a quarter from Manchester, two hours from Birmingham and three and a half hours from London. (Click to enlarge the map of Wales and locate Fron Lwyd.)
Five miles north of the charming town of Llangollen, the World's End Estate is located at the top of the Eglwyseg valley. A quiet single track lane winds up from Llangollen through the beautiful Eglwyseg landscape, bordered to the east by majestic limestone crags and to the west by the wooded slate landscape characteristic of North Wales. Streams and rivulets crisscross the landscape, and the sound of water is never far away.
